Isn’t it ironic that Italy, one of the biggest importers of Greek EVOO, mixes it with their own to improve the quality and then sell it as “Italian” olive oil. Thanks for shining a light on this beleaguered industry.
Greek olive oil is so underrated, I have been in Kalamata before and tried fresh local olive oil, it was the best I've had. Now I always try to get Greek olive oil from Kalamata, but not easy to find sometimes.
